The platform ruke.hr ("Ruke") is operated by DJECA BUDUĆNOSTI j.d.o.o., OIB (tax ID): 74236938498, MBS: 081205364, Pula, Croatia ("platform", "we", "us").
Ruke is an intermediary marketplace — we connect clients who need home cleaning with vetted independent providers in Pula. Providers are independent contractors, not employees of the platform.
By using the platform, two separate contractual relationships arise:
The platform is not a party to the cleaning service contract; it facilitates its formation and execution.
By submitting a booking you agree to pay the displayed price for the services requested. Prices are fixed and shown in full before you confirm. The platform confirms the booking via WhatsApp. Payment is due upon confirmation of job completion; provider payout is aimed for within 48 business hours.
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from service contracts without giving a reason. If you request that service delivery begins within that 14-day period (as is the case with all Ruke bookings), you expressly waive the right of withdrawal in respect of the service already performed. The cancellation terms in section 4 continue to apply to future scheduled appointments.
Every provider undergoes identity verification and a personal interview with the Ruke team before joining. Ruke does not guarantee any specific cleaning outcome, but enforces quality standards and will intervene in the event of a substantiated complaint.
Dissatisfaction must be reported within 24 hours of job completion via the booking tracking link or at info@ruke.hr. Ruke will arrange a return visit at no extra cost under our service guarantee.
By providing entry instructions (key location, door code, etc.), you authorise the assigned provider to access your property solely for the duration of the booked service. These details are visible only to the assigned provider and Ruke administrators.
Please secure or remove valuables, jewellery, and cash before the cleaning. The platform is not liable for loss or damage to unsecured items.
Claims for damage must be reported within 24 hours of job completion with photographic evidence. The platform will review check-in and check-out photos and mediate the dispute.
The platform's liability as an intermediary is limited to the value of the booking in question. These limitations do not affect your statutory consumer rights under Croatian and EU consumer protection law.
If you raise a complaint, Ruke reviews photographic evidence from both parties and issues a decision within 3 business days.

Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. The platform reserves the right to remove reviews containing false statements, offensive language, or third-party personal information.
Recurring bookings renew automatically at the same price and conditions. You may cancel a series at any time by contacting the platform before the next scheduled booking.
We reserve the right to update these terms. We will notify registered users by email with at least 14 days' notice of material changes. Continued use of the platform thereafter constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by Croatian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Municipal Court in Pula, Croatia. EU consumers retain the right to use alternative dispute resolution mechanisms regardless of this jurisdiction clause.
